We’re auditioning for our upcoming production of ‘Whimsy’ to be performed at the Camden Fringe 2018!
About the project:
Written by Alex Newport
Directed by Heather Millar
‘Aoife can do anything she wants. No need to go to work, or pay for her meals, the world simply bends to her will. However, with infinite power and infinite potential, Aoife struggles to balance her abilities with normal human interaction. As the lines between whimsy and abuse are blurred, an innocent person in Aoife's way doesn't stand a chance.’
Whimsy is a surreal, fast-paced comedy that will utilise a combination of Commedia dell’arte and Bouffon physicality to explore corruption and consent. We are looking for actors for multiple roles with experience in ensemble work, physical performance and comedy. Experience in either Commedia or Bouffon is welcomed but not necessary.
Audition date: Sunday 1st July 2018, 11am - 4.30pm

(53 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 4SA)
Rehearsal dates: 30th July – 17th August 2018
